1. Khan Academy
The most comprehensive free educational platform in the world. Math, science, English, history, economics, and SAT prep from kindergarten through early college. The math instruction in particular is genuinely excellent — not 'pretty good for free' but actually excellent. Every homeschool family should be using this.
2. Khan Academy Kids (Ages 2–7)
A separate app specifically designed for young learners. Interactive stories, games, and activities covering early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Completely free, completely ad-free, and genuinely high quality.
3. The Good and the Beautiful (Free Downloads)
The entire language arts curriculum — multiple grade levels — is available as a free PDF download from their website. Beautifully designed, literature-rich, and completely free to print and use.
4. Ambleside Online
A free, Charlotte Mason-inspired homeschool curriculum covering all grades. Ambleside Online provides complete year-by-year reading lists, lesson schedules, and resource guides organized around great literature and living books.
